As VeNIT Lab - Marmara University, we are delighted to have hosted the general assembly and consortium meetings of the European Union-funded "Breakthrough in Micro-Bolometer Imaging" project (BRIGHTER) in the beautiful city of Istanbul!
During the meetings with the consortium partners from all over Europe, we reviewed the progress made so far, aligned on future strategies, discussed recent advances in thermal imaging technologies with innovative field deployments and explored collaboration opportunities to achieve our beyond SotA research and development goals for the upcoming phase.
Our consortium partners also visited VeNIT Research Laboratory at Marmara University, and had the opportunity to observe and evaluate the work and progress made within the scope of the project. They experienced the Intelligent Transportation Systems application for VRU detection and industrial application for fault detection of electronic cards with thermal imaging.
And of course, we all enjoyed the astonishing view of the Bosphorus and Istanbul!
Once again, we convey our thanks to all our consortium partners contributing to the BRIGHTER project. We look forward to many more success stories in the future!
